A request: If you know me (or even think you know me) IRL/outside of fandom, I would greatly appreciate it if you sent me a private message letting me know so that we can chat. I'm mostly fine with people knowing about my fannish self IRL, but still appreciate the gesture all the same!

I feel so bad for not having Infiltrate done by now.

It’s been a really, really rocky road completing my next long podfic after Progress (7.7 hours), and Infiltrate’s probably going to come in at around ten hours, and I keep getting sidetracked by completing smaller projects first, and I rarely have any free time to myself to record anymore (less than two hours a week usually), and…yes, lots of excuses.

HOWEVER

I’m not giving up on Infiltrate! It will happen, and, if the podfic gods are good, it will happen very soon.

Seriously though, thanks for sticking around and being patient, those who are still waiting for this one :)

Hey there! Besides what I have listed on the “my podfic info” page here on Tumblr and what’s up on the Audiofic Archive, there’s nothing. I lead a pretty busy life these days (recorded Progress over the course of three months while I was unemployed, and am now much busier), and while I’d love to spend the majority of my time podficcing, the actual time I get to devote to recording and editing new material is incredibly short and sporadic.

Next big projects are Infiltrate by SkipandDi (shooting for Christmas/New Years 2012, almost halfway through), and Birds to a Lighthouse by Katie Forsythe (sometime in spring 2013). I’ll have a few shorter podfics coming out intermittently in the near future as well, plus the Two Two One Bravo Baker podfic collab that’s in the works and, eventually, another ensemble recording of Performance in a Leading Role (I’m reading John).

In the meantime, I suggest to get ready for the awesomeness listening to the podfic of its great prequel, Needing is One Thing (Getting is Another), recorded by the amazing crinklysolution. The fic, one of my favorites, has a complex, rich plot but also EMOTIONS, and in my opinon the reader’s performance is excellent.

Hi Tumblies,

So, I got a full-time job. Weeee! While this is exciting on most fronts (namely financial), this also means I’ll have a lot less time to podfic new material, since I’ve been working part-time from home up until now. This does not mean I’m stopping, though! By no means. I’ll be recording on the weekends for little bits at a time mostly, which will probably mean a lot more space between when I post new material. I hope you all hang around though, because on deck I’ve got my first venture into Mystrade-land with sinuous_curve’s Learn To Wear Each Other Well, Katie Forsythe’s Birds to a Lighthouse, and SkipandDi’s Infiltrate.
