Oops, I accidentally Maz’s Upper Matecumbe Key.
This actually did feel like a bit of a happy accident. I was working on a longer project I’ve been slogging away at this morning, and I got distracted and wound up taking a little break and rereading this beautiful wee story. This is one of my favorites out of Maz’s shorter pieces. It’s heartrending, tender, funny, angsty, and hopeful, and all in under 1,000 words and less than seven minutes.
Hope you enjoy. Happy Sunday Sherlockians :)
